Budweiser Revives World Cup Campaign with Free Beer for Club World Cup 2025 Champions’ Fans

Budweiser is back with its iconic promise: fans of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup champions will take home a container of free beer. The global beer giant, an official tournament sponsor, has announced the return of its “Bring the Buds Home” campaign, first made famous during the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

With the biggest Club World Cup in history set for June 14 to July 13 in the U.S., Budweiser is launching a multi-platform fan engagement strategy, complete with prize giveaways, interactive activations, and a cross-country campaign designed to unite fans through football and celebration.

The Container is Back – And So Are the Prizes

Created by Africa Creative, the campaign will once again feature the signature red Budweiser containers, this time filled with surprises for fans and situated at key locations. In Brazil, the container will first appear near São Paulo’s iconic Ponte Estaiada on June 7, before being moved to Avenida Paulista (Shopping Cidade São Paulo) from June 10 to 14.

During this period, fans can:

  • Guess the tournament winner
  • Participate in special activation experiences on June 14
  • Win Budweiser t-shirts, discount vouchers via Zé Delivery, and even tickets to BudZone by Village a brand-hosted experience from June 18–22 at the Museu do Amanhã, Rio de Janeiro.

In Rio, Budweiser will also deploy its celebratory container at a surprise location fans are encouraged to follow Bud’s social channels for updates.

From Football Fields to Office Parties: “Bring the Buds Home” Aims to Celebrate Everywhere

According to Mariana Santos, Budweiser’s Marketing Director in Brazil, the initiative is about connecting with fans where they already live the passion of football:

“Between playing soccer with an idol and toasting with free beers, we’ll take the celebration to where our audience is. The containers mark the countdown to the championship and a series of unique experiences for those who live football anywhere at the bar, on the couch or in the office.”

The campaign aligns with Budweiser’s broader goal of cementing itself as a global sports and entertainment powerhouse, turning major football events into unforgettable fan experiences.
