Manchester City beat Aston Villa 2-1 on Tuesday in a great match of the 34th round of the Premier League. At the Etihad Stadium, Bernardo Silva put the home team ahead after just seven minutes, taking advantage of a great play by Marmoush. In the 18th minute, Rashford equalized with a penalty kick. The tie remained until the 49th minute of the second half, when Doku made a great play and charged for Matheus Nunes to score the winning goal.

With Tuesday’s result, Pep Guardiola’s team moved up to third place, with 61 points. Next in line are Nottingham Forest, with 60, Newcastle, with 59, Chelsea and Aston Villa, both with 57.
