Xabi Alonso could be the best coach in the world at Real Madrid, says Lewandowski

Robert Lewandowski has tipped Xabi Alonso to become the best coach in the world as the Spaniard begins his journey at Real Madrid. The Polish striker, currently at Barcelona, praised Alonso’s tactical vision and man-management skills, insisting he has the qualities to reach the very top.
Lewandowski’s Praise for Alonso
“Xabi Alonso has a great future as a coach. Not just tactically, but also personally. In the future, he will be one of the best, perhaps the best. He’s someone who can get the best out of every player,” Lewandowski told ESPN.
Alonso, who dazzled Europe by leading Bayer Leverkusen to historic success, now faces the biggest challenge of his career: replacing Carlo Ancelotti at the Santiago Bernabéu. His start has been promising, with six matches in the Club World Cup already showing tactical adjustments and squad rotation.
The New Real Madrid Under Alonso
During the transfer window, Madrid prioritized defensive reinforcements, signing Dean Huijsen, Trent Alexander-Arnold, and Álvaro Carreras, while also welcoming back Éder Militão, who will battle Antonio Rüdiger for a starting role.
In midfield, Alonso has bet strongly on Arda Güler, who impressed at the Club World Cup and is set to gain far more minutes than under Ancelotti. With Federico Valverde, Eduardo Camavinga, and Jude Bellingham forming the core, the Turkish youngster is expected to step in while Bellingham recovers from shoulder surgery.
Up front, Vinícius Júnior and Kylian Mbappé are locked in as attacking leaders, but the right wing remains open. With Rodrygo under scrutiny for inconsistent performances, Brahim Díaz and Franco Mastantuono are pushing for opportunities, while Endrick is also in the mix.
