Rodrygo out of Real Madrid’s plans and Al-Nassr’s target to play with Cristiano Ronaldo

Rodrygo’s situation at Real Madrid has worsened under new coach Xabi Alonso. The Brazilian forward, who demanded a spot on the left wing last season, has now fallen down the pecking order and is close to the exit door.
Falling Out of Favor at Real Madrid
The striker has not featured in Madrid’s last three games. His only start came during the Club World Cup, and his most recent appearance was a four-minute cameo against Borussia Dortmund in the quarterfinals. On Real’s La Liga debut against Osasuna, Rodrygo remained on the bench as Kylian Mbappé secured the win with a decisive goal.
According to Marca, the 24-year-old has slipped to sixth choice in attack, with clubs like Arsenal monitoring his situation closely.
Al-Nassr’s Ambitious Plan
Beyond Europe, Al-Nassr has emerged as a strong contender. The Saudi club, where Cristiano Ronaldo plays, wants Rodrygo to form a partnership with the Portuguese star. Reports indicate Al-Nassr is willing to meet Madrid’s €100 million asking price.
The main challenge, however, lies in convincing Rodrygo to leave Europe. At his age, he still has suitors among Europe’s elite and could easily be a starter for top clubs.
Still Valued in Brazil
Despite his struggles at Madrid, Rodrygo maintains the trust of Carlo Ancelotti with the Brazilian national team. He is expected to feature in the next World Cup cycle alongside Éder Militão.
