PSG asks for €30 million to sell Beraldo to Juventus; São Paulo could profit

Paris Saint-Germain have set a price tag of €30 million (around R$190 million) for Brazilian defender Lucas Beraldo, with Juventus emerging as the main candidate to sign him before the transfer window closes. The negotiation could also benefit São Paulo, the player’s formative club.
PSG open to selling Beraldo
Despite retaining most of their Champions League-winning squad, PSG are using the final weeks of the window to offload players outside Luis Enrique’s plans. After Kolo Muani moved closer to Juventus, Beraldo has now been placed on the market following inconsistent performances at the Club World Cup.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, PSG are demanding at least €30 million. The figure is considered steep given that Beraldo, 20, is still adapting to European football.
Juventus in negotiations
Juventus have been monitoring Beraldo for weeks and are weighing whether to meet PSG’s asking price. The defender is seen as a long-term investment, but the high cost could complicate the deal.
If the transfer goes through, São Paulo stand to benefit via FIFA’s solidarity mechanism, which awards training clubs a percentage of future sales.
From São Paulo to PSG
Beraldo joined PSG in early 2024 after leaving São Paulo. The French club paid €19 million (R$101.6 million at the time), splitting the fee between Tricolor, his agents, and XV de Piracicaba.
Since his arrival, Beraldo has made 63 appearances, scoring three goals and helping PSG win the Champions League, Ligue 1, Coupe de France, French Super Cup, and UEFA Super Cup.
