Bayern Munich survives scare, beats Wehen 3-2 and advances in the German Cup

Bayern Munich secured a dramatic 3-2 victory over third-division side Wehen on Wednesday (27), booking their place in the second round of the German Cup. Harry Kane scored twice, including the decisive stoppage-time penalty, while Olise added the other goal. Kaya netted both goals for the underdogs.
Bayern almost taken to penalties
Despite being heavy favorites, the Bavarians were pushed to the limit. After Kane opened the scoring in the 16th minute from the penalty spot, Bayern doubled their lead early in the second half when Olise fired home from the edge of the box.
But the match took a dramatic turn in the final 20 minutes. Kaya first headed home a cross in the 70th minute, then leveled the game shortly after with a powerful strike inside the box. At 2-2, Wehen looked set to take Bayern to penalties.
Kane delivers in stoppage time
Just when an upset seemed possible, Bayern were awarded another penalty deep into stoppage time. Kane converted with composure, sealing the 3-2 win and sparing Bayern a major embarrassment.
