Nkunku has already agreed to play for Bayern Munich, but negotiations depend on Chelsea

Christopher Nkunku wants to leave Chelsea for Bayern Munich and has already agreed personal terms with the German club. The deal now depends on negotiations between the two boards.
Nkunku gives Bayern the green light
According to Sky Sports Germany’s Florian Plettenberg, Nkunku has made it clear he wants to wear Bayern’s shirt this season. The French forward has already reached a personal agreement with the Bavarians, awaiting only the final go-ahead from Chelsea to complete the transfer.
The main obstacle is Chelsea’s stance. Signed in 2023 for around €60 million (R$352.2 million), Nkunku still has years left on his contract, and the London club is reluctant to let him go without favorable terms.
Bayern’s long-standing interest
This is not Bayern’s first attempt to secure Nkunku. The striker, who rose to prominence at RB Leipzig, was previously on their radar before Chelsea won the race two years ago.
At Leipzig, Nkunku impressed with 172 matches, 70 goals, and 56 assists between 2019 and 2023, establishing himself as one of the Bundesliga’s top performers.
Chelsea chapter yet to convince
Since joining Chelsea, the 26-year-old has endured a difficult spell plagued by injuries and inconsistent team performances. He has played just over 20 official matches since arriving but is still regarded as one of the most technically gifted forwards of his generation.
