Still without Vlahovic, Milan could release Noah Okafor to Leeds United

With their striker search unresolved, AC Milan could part ways with Noah Okafor. The Swiss forward is close to joining Leeds United for €20 million, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

Leeds pushes for Okafor deal

Leeds United, newly returned to the Premier League, are closing in on an agreement with Noah Okafor. The 24-year-old forward, who won Serie A on loan with Napoli last season, is not in Massimiliano Allegri’s plans at Milan.

The proposed deal would cost around €20 million (R$126.8 million). Leeds already strengthened their squad with Lucas Perri, Sean Longstaff, Jaka Bijol, Dominic Calvert-Lewin, and Lukas Nmecha, and now see Okafor as the “final piece” for coach Daniel Farke’s frontline.

Milan’s striker dilemma

Okafor’s departure would leave Milan even lighter in attack. In their recent Coppa Italia clash with Bari, the Rossoneri lined up with Rafael Leão and Christian Pulisic up front, underscoring the lack of a true number nine.

The club’s priority remains signing a starting center forward before the window closes. Santi Giménez is being seriously considered, but Milan also explored a move for Dusan Vlahovic, whose future at Juventus looks uncertain. However, negotiations for the Serbian have cooled, with Newcastle also in the race.
