Chelsea take control at Stamford Bridge
The home side created early chances through João Pedro and Estêvão, but goalkeeper Bernd Leno kept Fulham in the game with a string of saves. Fulham also threatened before the break with efforts from Adarabioyo and Rodrigo Muniz, but couldn’t find the net.
Chelsea broke through in the 54th minute, when João Pedro rose unmarked inside the six-yard box and headed home from a corner to make it 1-0.
