Everton beat Wolves 3-2 away with Dewsbury-Hall and Grealish shining in Premier League

Everton surprised Wolves at Molineux Stadium with a 3-2 win this Saturday (30), in the third round of the Premier League. Beto, Iliman Ndiaye and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall scored for the visitors, while Hee-Chan Hwang and Rodrigo Gomes netted for the hosts.

First-half action

Everton started strong and opened the scoring in the 7th minute. Jack Grealish delivered his third assist in two matches, finding Beto in the six-yard box to head home. Wolves equalized at 21 minutes when Hee-Chan Hwang finished off a well-worked move on the right.

The Toffees quickly restored their lead in the 33rd minute. Dewsbury-Hall combined with Grealish, crossed low, and Iliman Ndiaye slotted home unmarked to make it 2-1.

Dewsbury-Hall decisive in the second half 

Ten minutes after the break, Everton struck again. Grealish recovered the ball and played a perfect through pass for Dewsbury-Hall, who fired in a left-footed finish to extend the lead.

Wolves tried to rally under coach Vítor Pereira’s changes. In the 79th minute, David Möller Wolfe crossed into the box and Rodrigo Gomes finished with precision to cut the deficit. However, Everton held on to secure the three points.
