Jadon Sancho likely to stay at Manchester United after Roma refuse wage demands

Jadon Sancho’s future appears increasingly tied to Manchester United, despite ongoing interest from abroad. According to Mail Sport, negotiations with AS Roma have stalled, with the Italian club unwilling to meet the winger’s high wage demands.
Roma Back Away From Deal
Roma had been in talks with Sancho for months and were keen to secure his arrival this summer. However, the Serie A side quickly ran into difficulties when the 24-year-old insisted on maintaining his current salary levels. Roma attempted to renegotiate for a lower package, but Sancho refused to compromise, effectively halting progress on a transfer.
United Still Open to Sale
Although Manchester United have made it clear that Sancho is not part of Erik ten Hag’s long-term plans, the board may be forced to keep him for another season. Unless a club is willing to meet both United’s asking price and the player’s salary, the winger is expected to remain at Old Trafford.
Besiktas Still Monitoring
Beyond Roma, Besiktas continue to show interest in the England international. The Turkish club has been scouting Sancho closely but, as of mid-August, has yet to make an official bid.
