Arsenal inform Al-Nassr, Barcelona and Bayern Munich that Gabriel Martinelli is not for sale

Arsenal have officially informed suitors that Gabriel Martinelli is off the market, despite transfer interest from Saudi Arabia’s Al-Nassr, as well as European giants Barcelona and Bayern Munich, according to GiveMeSport journalist Ben Jacobs.
Martinelli No Longer Transferable
The 24-year-old Brazilian forward was reportedly included in a list of players Arsenal could consider selling this summer. However, following internal discussions, the club has reversed that stance, making it clear that Martinelli is not for sale during this window.
The decision was communicated directly to interested parties, with Al-Nassr backed by Cristiano Ronaldo’s influence among the clubs that had inquired about the striker. Barcelona and Bayern Munich also expressed recent interest.
Fan Base Divided, but Arsenal Hold Firm
Martinelli’s performances have divided opinion among Arsenal fans. While some supporters believe he deserves more time to regain top form and contribute under Mikel Arteta, others argued that selling him could benefit the club financially.
Last season, Martinelli made 51 appearances in all competitions, including 40 starts, registering 10 goals and five assists. Despite modest numbers, Arteta still views him as an important part of the squad’s long-term plan.
Market Value and Contract Situation
The Brazilian forward is currently valued at €55 million (approx. R$351 million) by Transfermarkt and is under contract at Arsenal until June 2027.
With this renewed stance, it’s highly unlikely that Barcelona, Bayern Munich, or Al-Nassr will be able to secure his signature during the 2025 summer window.
