Real Madrid: Endrick feels the injury that kept him out of the Club World Cup again and will undergo tests
Endrick Suffers Injury Setback at Real Madrid and Will Undergo Further Tests in Spain

Real Madrid striker Endrick has suffered a setback in his recovery from a right hamstring injury and will undergo additional medical examinations upon his return to Spain. The 17-year-old, who had been training with the squad in the United States during the FIFA Club World Cup, is once again experiencing pain in the injured area, raising concerns within the club.

Ongoing Injury Woes for Real Madrid’s Young Talent

Endrick has not played since sustaining the injury on May 18, during a La Liga clash against Sevilla. Since then, the Brazilian prodigy has been undergoing treatment with Real Madrid’s medical staff in Madrid. Though he traveled to the U.S. for the Club World Cup and was included on the tournament roster, he did not see any minutes due to a lack of match fitness after his two-month absence.

His condition worsened during the team’s stay in the United States, prompting Real Madrid to schedule detailed diagnostic tests once he returns to Spain. There is no official timeline for his return, and his participation at the start of the 2025/26 season is now in doubt.

Endrick Also Left Out of Brazil’s National Team Call-Up

Endrick’s injury has also impacted his international ambitions. The striker was not included in Carlo Ancelotti’s first squad list as head coach of Brazil. The national team faced Ecuador and Paraguay in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers this past June.

What’s Next for Endrick?

While fans eagerly await his official debut in a Real Madrid shirt, the club is taking a cautious approach. Medical evaluations in Madrid will determine whether the injury requires extended rehabilitation or further treatment. For now, the club remains hopeful the setback is not serious, but a cautious return is expected.
