The UEFA Women’s Euro 2025 is set to become the most lucrative edition in the tournament’s history, with €41 million in total prize money a staggering 156% increase compared to the last edition in 2022.
The tournament, which kicks off on Wednesday, July 2, will feature top-tier European national teams competing not only for the title, but also for a share of the record prize fund.
Prize Breakdown: Up to €5 Million for the Champions
UEFA confirmed that each of the participating national teams will receive €1.8 million just for taking part in the competition. That amount accounts for nearly 70% of the total prize pool.
The rest of the money will be distributed based on performance, with €5 million (approx. R$33 million) going to the team that wins the tournament with a perfect group stage record.
