Official transfer window: Raphinha renews with Barcelona
Former Vitória de Guimarães and Sporting player’s new contract is now valid until 2028
Barcelona announced the renewal of Raphinha’s contract on Thursday , the day after announcing the extension of the contract of Hansi Flick, the coach who arrived in Catalonia at the start of the season. The Brazilian international winger had an absolutely sensational season, with 34 goals and 25 assists – numbers that he could improve on in the last round, against Athletic Bilbao – and is now tied to the Spanish club until 2028, with the option for a further year.
Raphinha , who played for Vitória de Guimarães and Sporting in Portugal , arrived at Barça in 2022 from Leeds United, and this season he has become an absolutely essential player for Flick in attack.
