Negotiations between Juventus and Atlético de Madrid for Vlahovic and Molina gain momentum

Negotiations between Juventus and Atlético de Madrid are gaining momentum as both clubs explore a possible player exchange involving Dusan Vlahovic and Nahuel Molina, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Juventus Targets Molina Amid Defensive Overhaul
Juventus is once again showing strong interest in Atlético’s Argentine right-back Nahuel Molina, who previously caught the Bianconeri’s eye during his time at Udinese. With the player open to a return to Serie A and his position under threat at Atlético, Juventus sees a prime opportunity to reinforce its backline.
Molina’s market value has been set at €30 million, but Atlético is reportedly open to flexible negotiations especially if Vlahovic is involved in the talks.
Vlahovic’s Future Tied to Deal
Meanwhile, Serbian striker Dusan Vlahovic could be on the move this summer. Juventus is open to selling the forward as part of a strategic revamp under its current board. Vlahovic, who earns €12 million per year, has been linked to several European clubs but remains reluctant to leave for lesser-known leagues.
A swap deal involving Molina could present a solution for both clubs. Atlético Madrid came close to signing Vlahovic in 2021 before the player chose Juventus over Fiorentina’s offer. The Spanish side now sees another chance to bring him to La Liga.
Juventus Plans Squad Shake-Up
Juventus recently completed a player exchange with Porto involving Joao Mario and Alberto Costa. With Cambiaso’s versatility opening up space at right-back, Molina’s arrival would offer a direct solution to bolstering the club’s defense.
The Bianconeri are also working on offloading players like Timothy Weah, Nico Gonzalez, Douglas Luiz, and Mbangula to free up space for incoming transfers.
