Fluminense Surpasses R$300 Million in Club World Cup Prize Money — See the Figures

Fluminense continues to make history at the FIFA Club World Cup. After eliminating Al-Hilal with a 2-1 victory this Friday (4), Renato Portaluppi’s team secured a place in the semifinals and a substantial financial reward.
With the result, Tricolor das Laranjeiras has already earned approximately R$329 million in prize money. The semifinal qualification alone is worth 21 million dollars, around R$113 million at the current exchange rate historic figures for the club from Rio de Janeiro.
By reaching the World Cup semifinals, Fluminense has surpassed the total amount it received for winning the 2023 Copa Libertadores, which had guaranteed R$194 million.
