Liga F is back after the end-of-year break, and Round 15 promises decisive fixtures involving title contenders Barcelona and Real Madrid. After nearly a month without league action, Spain’s top women’s clubs return to the pitch as the 2025 season resumes.

Barcelona Resume Campaign as Clear Title Favorites

Barcelona enter the new year in complete control of Liga F. The reigning champions lead the table comfortably and remain the dominant force in Spanish women’s football.

So far, Barça have played 14 matches, recording 13 wins and just one defeat, reinforcing their status as overwhelming favorites to retain the title. This weekend, the Catalan side returns to action against Madrid CFF, a matchup in which they are widely expected to extend their lead at the top.

Real Madrid Aim to Keep Pressure on Leaders

Sitting second in the standings, Real Madrid continue their pursuit of Barcelona as they look to challenge the Blaugrana’s recent dominance.

Los Blancos have accumulated 32 points from 14 games, with a record of 10 wins, two draws and two losses. In Round 15, Real Madrid host Sevilla, a clash in which they start as favorites, especially playing at home.

Sevilla currently occupy sixth place with 24 points, making the encounter a key test for both sides.
