According to Sky Sports, United are currently in advanced talks with Šeško’s representatives. The Slovakian striker is said to favor a move to Old Trafford, though no formal offer has yet been submitted to Leipzig.
United are optimistic about reaching a deal, viewing Šeško as a long-term investment and a key addition to Erik ten Hag’s attack.
Newcastle Offer Rejected
While Newcastle remain interested, sources indicate that the player is not keen on joining the Magpies at this time. The Tyneside club reportedly made an €80 million offer for the forward, which was rejected by RB Leipzig. The German club is believed to value Šeško even higher, complicating any potential transfer.
Financial Hurdles for Manchester United
Despite being the player’s preferred destination, Manchester United face significant financial challenges. Budget constraints may limit their ability to meet Leipzig’s valuation unless the club offloads players or restructures their spending plans.
