Luis Enrique decides to discard Arnau Tenas and Presnel Kimpembe from PSG’s planning

PSG prepares to offload multiple players amid a major summer reshuffle led by the Spanish coach

Paris Saint-Germain is preparing for a squad overhaul, with Luis Enrique reportedly removing both Arnau Tenas and Presnel Kimpembe from his long-term plans. According to Fichajes.net, the Spanish coach no longer sees the duo as part of his project for the 2025/26 season.

Tenas and Kimpembe Expected to Leave

Arnau Tenas, 24, and Presnel Kimpembe, 29, saw limited minutes last season and are now on PSG’s transfer list. The club is actively seeking offers for the pair, both of whom are considered expendable as the coach aims to streamline the squad and cut payroll expenses.

  • Tenas, despite being at a prime age for goalkeepers, has drawn interest from Celta de Vigo, though no formal bid has been submitted.
  • Kimpembe, a veteran of PSG’s defensive line, has not yet attracted official offers amid ongoing fitness and form concerns.

New Targets: Zabarnyi and Chevalier

Luis Enrique is already working on replacements. Two names have emerged as priority signings for the coach:

  • Illya Zabarnyi (Bournemouth): The 22-year-old Ukrainian defender impressed in the Premier League last season and is PSG’s top defensive target. He could form a new-look backline alongside Marquinhos and William Pacho.
  • Lucas Chevalier (Lille): With Gianluigi Donnarumma reportedly unsettled over his contract and linked with Manchester United, PSG has made Chevalier their number one goalkeeping target. The French keeper could cost €70 million (R$446 million) but is seen as a worthy successor thanks to his quick reflexes and composure.

Donnarumma Considering Exit

Donnarumma is believed to be unhappy with the terms of his proposed new deal from PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi. The Italian star has been heavily linked with Manchester United, forcing the Parisians to accelerate plans for a replacement.

More Players Set to Leave: Asensio and Kolo Muani

The departures won’t stop at Tenas and Kimpembe. Marco Asensio and Randal Kolo Muani also appear to be on their way out:

  • Asensio, who was loaned to Aston Villa last season, has reportedly received an offer from Benfica.
  • Kolo Muani enjoyed a strong loan spell at Juventus and is keen to stay in Italy after rediscovering his form with the Bianconeri.
