Borussia Dortmund cruise past Union Berlin for first Bundesliga win

Borussia Dortmund earned their first Bundesliga victory of the season with a 3-0 win over Union Berlin, powered by a brace from Serhou Guirassy and a late strike from Felix Nmecha.
Guirassy double sparks Dortmund
After opening the season with a frustrating draw, Niko Kovac’s men showed greater sharpness at Signal Iduna Park. Striker Serhou Guirassy broke the deadlock in the 44th minute with a composed finish, before doubling Dortmund’s lead midway through the second half (58’).
Felix Nmecha then capped off the performance in the 81st minute, sealing a convincing 3-0 result that relieved early pressure on Dortmund’s campaign.
Union Berlin struggle to respond
Union, who won on matchday one, were unable to find their rhythm in Dortmund. The visitors created few clear chances and failed to contain Guirassy, who continues his red-hot scoring form after a prolific previous season.
