Al-Nassr wants Kingsley Coman and is confident of closing a deal with Bayern Munich

Saudi club eyes French winger as part of Jorge Jesus’ squad overhaul

Al-Nassr are in advanced talks to sign Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman as the Saudi Pro League side continues to strengthen for the 2025 season under coach Jorge Jesus. According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Coman has already accepted the idea of a move, with the club confident of closing the deal.

The Saudi side submitted an official offer to Bayern on Friday (8 August) and are now awaiting a response from the German champions. The proposed transfer would add another high-profile attacker to a squad that has undergone significant changes following a disappointing campaign last year.

Bayern Yet to Approve Move

While Coman’s future in the Bundesliga has been uncertain with interest from several clubs in recent weeks no negotiations had progressed until Al-Nassr’s approach. The move could involve a multi-million-euro fee, though exact figures have not yet been disclosed.

Bayern signed the 29-year-old from Juventus in 2017 for €21 million (around R$132.9 million at the time), and he has since won multiple Bundesliga titles.

Coman’s Playing Profile

Known for his blistering pace and explosive dribbling, Coman is a constant threat in one-on-one situations. His acceleration and short-space control allow him to beat defenders with ease, while his vision and crossing ability make him a valuable creator.

He famously scored the winning goal in the 2020 Champions League final and remains versatile across the front line, capable of operating on either wing or as a false nine. He also contributes defensively, pressing opponents and supporting in transitions.

If the deal goes through, Coman would join a growing list of European stars heading to Saudi Arabia, bolstering Al-Nassr’s ambition to challenge for every domestic and continental trophy this season.
