Chelsea have completed the signing of highly-rated Dutch defender Jorrel Hato from Ajax in a deal worth €43 million (approximately R$273 million), according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano. The 18-year-old has agreed to a seven-year contract that includes a release clause and sell-on percentage.

Hato has been cleared by Ajax to travel to London, where he successfully underwent medical exams. He now becomes the latest addition to Enzo Maresca’s evolving Chelsea squad, which is emphasizing long-term youth development.
