Bayern Munich begins talks to sign Garnacho, who is not in Manchester United’s plans

Manchester United winger no longer fits into Rúben Amorim’s plans and may exit this summer
Bayern Munich has opened negotiations to sign Alejandro Garnacho from Manchester United, according to reports from ESPN and Fichajes. The German giants initially targeted Luis Díaz, but with talks slowing down, the club is shifting its focus to the Argentine winger, who appears to be out of Rúben Amorim’s plans at Old Trafford.
Garnacho Set for Exit After Clash with Amorim
Although Garnacho had a strong individual season scoring 11 goals and delivering 11 assists in 58 matches his future at United is uncertain. A reported disagreement with manager Rúben Amorim has seen him drop in the pecking order. As a result, United may be open to selling the 20-year-old in the current transfer window.
Bayern Looks for Sané Replacement
Bayern’s urgent need for a new winger stems from the departure of Leroy Sané, who opted not to renew his contract and has reportedly agreed to join Galatasaray. The Bundesliga side has already made initial contact with Garnacho’s representatives, as they view the Argentine as a suitable long-term replacement.
While Luis Díaz remains a top target, negotiations with Liverpool are stalling, partly due to competition from Barcelona. This has prompted Bayern to accelerate their pursuit of Garnacho.
Chelsea and Napoli Also Interested
Bayern is not alone in its interest. Chelsea and Napoli have also been linked with Garnacho, though no official bids have been reported. The winger’s blend of pace, flair, and goal involvement continues to draw attention across Europe.
United Planning Further Changes in Attack
Manchester United has already bolstered its attack with Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo, but further changes are expected. Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins has also emerged as a potential target to reinforce the forward line.
