Monterrey defeats Urawa Reds and will face Inter in the round of 16

First of all, Monterrey beat Urawa Reds 4-0 this Wednesday (25), in a duel valid for the group stage of the Club World Cup . The two teams face each other at the Rose Bowl.

With the result, the Mexicans took second place in Group E with 5 points. On the other side, the Japanese, who entered the field already eliminated, remained with zero points in the group.

First half

The Mexicans entered the field determined to secure victory tonight. With an offensive focus, Monterrey showed great movement in the Urawa Reds area.

The Japanese threatened in the opening minutes, but gave Monterrey space. In the 29th minute, Deossa finished from outside the area, converting a truly great goal.
