The game between Pachuca and RB Salzburg, valid for the first round of Group H of the Club World Cup, this Wednesday (18), was interrupted at 9 minutes of the second half. Due to the heavy clouds and the risk of lightning in the region of the TQL Stadium, in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Right at the start of the second half, the referee decided to take the players back to the locker room as a precaution.
RB Salzburg is winning the game 1-0, with a goal scored by midfielder Gloukh in the 42nd minute of the second half. On the other hand, Pachuca grew in the second half and was doing well until the stoppage. The match is for the leadership of Group H, since Real Madrid and Al-Hilal drew 1-1, also on Wednesday.
