Madrid is the team that has played the most in LaLiga, and… Barça is seventh!
The effective playing time remains the same as last year with an average of 55:17 minutes, with Getafe playing the least with 49:36.
The 2024-25 EA Sports League season ended with an average of 55 minutes and 17 seconds, maintaining the previous season’s average (55:18), although it remains at the bottom of the top five European leagues in terms of effective playing time.
Real Madrid has been the team that has played the most minutes on average this season with 59:4 0, something that already occurred last season (59:43) and has been the team that has had the most playing time in LaLiga.
On the other hand, Getafe is another year away, with an average of 49:36 minutes of actual playing time in its 38 matches , a figure significantly lower than the previous season (52:12), that is, ten minutes less of effective playing time on average, behind Real Madrid.
The most curious thing is that the champion Barcelona is seventh in this ranking with 55:58 minutes behind Real Madrid (59:40), Atlético (59:25), Girona (58:59), Celta (58:49), Villarreal (56:51) and Betis (56:11).
UEFA recently published a report on European tournaments, in which the Champions League recorded an average effective playing time of 60:07 minutes , followed by the Conference League with 56:10 and the Europa League with 55:15.
