Henry fires back: “Everyone laughs at United, but they’ve played five finals in five years, while Arteta’s Arsenal haven’t played any.”
The Gunners legend criticized Arteta’s team’s lack of silverware.

Thierry Henry has assessed Arsenal ‘s recent season under Mikel Arteta , expressing some dissatisfaction with the north London side’s failure to win any silverware since winning the FA Cup in 2020.
“I’m not saying I’m disappointed with Arsenal, but it’s normal for people to wonder what the team is doing now . I understand that at first you arrive and it’s not your team. You need at least three or four transfer windows to change everything you want,” the Gunners legend declared on the Stick to Football podcast .
However, Henry didn’t mince words and, given the lack of trophies, emphasized that a team like Manchester United, in the midst of a sporting crisis, has managed to reach more finals than the Londoners in recent years.
“For the last three years, Arsenal have been in a situation where they should have at least won a cup or reached a final. Manchester United have played in five finals in the last five years, the United that everyone laughs at , while Arsenal, in the last three years of their development, haven’t even reached a final,” the Frenchman concluded.
