Liverpool comfortably won the 33rd edition of the Premier League with four games to go. But the English league has already given us several battles for the title right down to the last second, decided by a point, slip-ups and won by a team that was expected to fight for survival. On the other hand, there are champions (like the current Liverpool) who dominate the league, or who don’t even need 80 points to win.

So The Athletic has ranked all the Premier League champions from most to least impressive. One clue: Arne Slot’s side are nowhere near the top.

One of Jose Mourinho’s Chelsea titles is in the top 10, Cristiano Ronaldo helps put one of Manchester United ‘s 13 Premier League titles in the top five and Arsene Wenger’s Invincibles are not at the top of the list.
