Rudiger given a heavy penalty
Lucas Vázquez was also punished, but Real Madrid will hardly feel these sanctions

The Spanish Football Federation’s Competition Committee was heavy-handed in punishing Antonio Rudiger ‘s behaviour in the Copa del Rey final : the centre-back was handed a six-match suspension for throwing a bottle onto the pitch from the bench and then reacting aggressively when shown a red card.
However, Rudiger is injured and will serve practically the entire suspension while he recovers, as he is expected to be out for a month and a half.
Lucas Vázquez , like Rudiger, was shown a red card in that defeat to Barcelona , but his two-match ban will only apply to Copa del Rey matches. However, with his contract at Real Madrid coming to an end, it is possible that the player will not even serve the suspension, at least for the Whites .
There was better news for Jude Bellingham , whose red card was overturned. The FA Committee disagreed with the referee’s minutes, which stated that the Englishman had been “aggressive” towards the match officials after the final whistle. According to the Committee, this attitude was not noticeable in the post-match footage.
