WHO DOESN’T DO IT…

Manchester City beat Everton 2-0 this Saturday in a match for the 33rd round of the Premier League. At Goodison Park, Pep Guardiola’s team didn’t have a great performance, but managed to score twice in the final stretch of the match. O’Reilly, taking advantage of a cross from Matheus Nunes, and Kovacic, finishing after a pass from Marmoush, scored the goals of the match. Everton played a good match and managed to hold on to the draw until the 39th minute of the second half. However, David Moyes’ team lacked efficiency, as they overused crosses and didn’t pose much of a threat to goalkeeper Ortega.

EYE ON THE TABLE

With the victory, Manchester City reached 58 points, temporarily occupying fourth place. This is because Nottingham Forest, which has 57, faces Tottenham in London next Monday and can reclaim its place in the G4. With 38 points, Everton remains in 13th place. In the next round, City hosts Aston Villa, while Everton visits Chelsea.
