It’s official. Sean Dyche is no longer Everton manager . In a statement, the Toffees announced the dismissal of the coach and revealed that former captain and under-18s coach Leighton Baines and current club captain Seamus Coleman will take over as interim manager of the first team, starting with this Thursday’s FA Cup match against Peterborough .

Dyche has been at the club since February 2023 and has made 84 appearances as manager of the Liverpool outfit. In that time, he has recorded 26 wins, 26 draws and 32 defeats.

This season, Everton have managed just four wins in 21 games and Dyche leaves the club 16th in the Premier League , one point above the relegation zone.
