Ronaldo reacts to Modric’s departure from Real Madrid
The forward shared a dressing room with the midfielder for six seasons
Cristiano Ronaldo was not indifferent to the announcement of Modric ‘s departure from Real Madrid after the Club World Cup .
On social media, the captain of the National Team, currently at Al Nassr , left a message on the Croatian international’s post.
“Thank you for everything, Luka ! It was an honour to share so many moments with you at Real Madrid . Much success for whatever lies ahead,” he wrote.
Cristiano Ronaldo and Modric shared the Real Madrid dressing room for six seasons: 2012/2013, when the midfielder arrived, and 2017/2018, the striker’s last season in Madrid before moving to Juventus .
Former Real Madrid players Kroos and Benzema also left comments.
“What a walk my friend,” said the German, while the forward shot: “Thank you, player number 10 forever.”
