Brazilian striker Richarlison is prepared to end his stint with Tottenham Hotspur at the end of the current season. Despite being under contract until 2027, reports from ESPN suggest that both the player and the club have reached a mutual agreement to part ways this summer, with Spurs holding out for a fee of around €25 million.

Premier League Interest vs. Flamengo Rumors

Richarlison’s potential availability has already alerted several clubs. Within the Premier League, Aston Villa and Fulham are reportedly monitoring the situation, as Unai Emery looks to bolster his attacking options.

In Brazil, Flamengo has emerged as a top suitor. After failing to secure Kaio Jorge, the Rio de Janeiro giants are prepared to make a significant financial effort to bring the “Pombo” back home. However, sources close to the player indicate that Richarlison’s priority remains staying in Europe or exploring lucrative offers from the Saudi Pro League or Turkey.

The 2025/26 campaign has been a difficult one for the forward. Richarlison is currently sidelined with a thigh injury that is expected to keep him out for another seven weeks, effectively cutting short his opportunities to prove his worth to Ange Postecoglou before the transfer window opens.

Since joining Tottenham in 2022, Richarlison has had flashes of brilliance, most notably in the 23/24 season where he netted 12 goals. This term, he has contributed 8 goals and 3 assists in 31 appearances, but his lack of consistency and recurring fitness issues have paved the way for a summer exit.

What’s Next for Richarlison?

With a price tag of €25 million, Tottenham is looking to recoup a portion of the €60 million they paid Everton for his services. For the player, the next move will be crucial for his aspirations to remain a regular in the Brazilian National Team squad ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
