Manchester United face double exit: Casemiro nears exit while Juventus eye Zirkzee

Manchester United could undergo significant changes in 2026. Casemiro, whose contract runs out at the end of the season, is expected to leave, and striker Joshua Zirkzee has emerged as a target for Juventus.

Casemiro Set to Leave Old Trafford

The Brazilian midfielder, who joined United from Real Madrid, appears to be in his final months at Old Trafford. Reports in Tuttosport and TEAMtalk highlight that United’s board is already preparing to replace him, with Crystal Palace standout Adam Wharton listed as a prime candidate.

Juventus Line Up Zirkzee as Vlahović Replacement

Juventus, meanwhile, are planning their future without Dušan Vlahović, who is unlikely to stay beyond 2026. To fill the void, the Turin giants are tracking Joshua Zirkzee a forward who made his name at Bologna before joining Manchester United.

Although Zirkzee impressed in Serie A with 14 goals and eight assists in two seasons, his spell in England has been less productive: 51 appearances for United with just seven goals and two assists.

United Open to Negotiations

Sources suggest United won’t block Zirkzee’s departure if Juventus table a fair offer. With summer arrivals Bryan Mbeumo, Matheus Cunha, and Benjamin Šeško adding competition, the Dutch striker faces reduced minutes under Rúben Amorim.

A Reshaped Attack in Manchester

United’s attacking reshuffle has already seen exits and rumors involving Jadon Sancho, Antony, Alejandro Garnacho, and Rasmus Højlund. If Zirkzee joins Juventus and Casemiro leaves, Amorim will oversee a very different squad heading into the 2026/27 campaign.
