Barcelona is not stopping at Savinho and is looking to sign Kenan Yildiz from Juventus

Hansi Flick wants a new attacking option as the club plans for the 2026 season.

Barcelona expands transfer list

Barcelona’s transfer market activity is far from over. While the Catalan club continues to monitor Savinho, the Brazilian winger owned by Manchester City and also wanted by Tottenham, coach Hansi Flick has already set his sights on another major target: Kenan Yildiz of Juventus.

According to El Nacional and Fichajes, the young Turkish international is highly rated inside Barça and has been personally approved by Flick as an ideal fit for his tactical system.

Juventus won’t make deal easy

The Italian club, however, has no plans to sell cheaply. Yildiz has emerged as one of Juventus’ most promising players and is considered untouchable unless a substantial offer arrives. Any negotiation is likely to be complex and costly, pushing the move closer to 2026 rather than the current season.

Yildiz’s rise at Juventus and with Turkey

At just 19, Yildiz has already become a starter for Juventus and a key figure for the Turkish national team, where he featured prominently in the latest FIFA window against Georgia and Spain.

His numbers back up the hype:

  • 2023/24 season – 32 appearances in his first senior campaign.
  • 2024/25 season – 52 matches, 12 goals and 7 assists, directly contributing to 19 goals.

Barcelona’s forward plans

For now, Flick continues to rely on Lamine Yamal and Raphinha as his main wingers, with Marcus Rashford also available as a central or wide option. Looking further ahead, Barça’s board is also preparing for the post-Lewandowski era, with Julián Álvarez identified as the preferred striker to take over, potentially arriving on a reduced salary.
