Mbappé promises Florentino Pérez: 50 goals and Champions League glory for Real Madrid

Kylian Mbappé has set sky-high targets for the 2025/26 season, vowing to score 50 goals and deliver the Champions League title to Real Madrid. The French superstar shared his ambitions directly with club president Florentino Pérez, confident he’s in the best shape of his career.

Best Form Since World Cup Peak

After netting 44 goals in his debut season at the Bernabéu, Mbappé believes he’s now fully adapted to Spanish football. His determination is fueled by his previous peak year in 2022, when he was World Cup runner-up with France. In recent friendlies, the No. 10 impressed with his tactical work rate and trademark technical brilliance.

Chasing Career Milestones

Mbappé has never hit the 50-goal mark in a single club season. His personal best remains 44 goals and 10 assists for Paris Saint-Germain before moving to Madrid. On the European stage, he’s still chasing his first Champions League trophy, having reached only one final — a 2020 loss to Bayern Munich.

Eyes on Domestic and European Domination

Real Madrid kick off their season next Tuesday (19) against Osasuna at the Santiago Bernabéu, under coach Xabi Alonso. While the Champions League remains the ultimate goal, the club is equally determined to reclaim the La Liga crown and prevent arch-rivals Barcelona from lifting more silverware.
