Juventus receive two Premier League offers for Douglas Luiz, with sale open this summer

Italian giants seek at least €35 million for Brazilian midfielder

Juventus have received two official offers from Premier League clubs for Douglas Luiz and are prepared to negotiate his departure before the end of the summer transfer window. The 26-year-old Brazilian joined the Turin side last year from Aston Villa in a €28 million deal that also included Enzo Barrenechea and Samuel Iling-Junior moving the other way.

Disappointing Spell in Italy

Douglas Luiz has struggled to replicate his Premier League form in Serie A, losing his starting spot under Igor Tudor. Reports suggest the midfielder has found it difficult to adapt to Italian football, and both player and club are now open to parting ways. Juventus, facing financial constraints, view his sale as an opportunity to generate much-needed funds.

Premier League Interest

While Manchester United, Liverpool, and Nottingham Forest have all been linked with the Brazil international, Sky Sports reports that two unnamed English clubs have now tabled concrete bids. Juventus are currently reviewing the proposals, which could include either a permanent transfer or a structured deal with add-ons.

The Bianconeri’s asking price stands at €35 million (R$220.6 million), and it remains unclear if either offer has met that valuation.

Other Midfield Exits Possible

Douglas Luiz’s situation comes as Juventus also work on moving Arthur Melo out of the squad. The former Barcelona man is not in Tudor’s plans and has attracted interest from Brazilian clubs Palmeiras and Grêmio.

With the window ticking down, Juventus could see significant midfield changes in the coming weeks — and Douglas Luiz’s Premier League return is looking increasingly likely.
