Bayern Munich close to selling Coman to Al-Nassr and targeting Chelsea’s Nkunku as a replacement

Bayern Munich are in advanced talks to sell Kingsley Coman to Saudi Arabian side Al-Nassr, with reports suggesting a deal is nearly complete. The transfer is expected to bring the German champions around €35 million, according to journalist Florian Plettenberg.
Nkunku Emerges as Priority Replacement
French outlet L’Équipe reports Bayern have already identified Chelsea forward Christopher Nkunku as Coman’s replacement. The 26-year-old, who has struggled for game time under new manager Enzo Maresca, is said to be admired by Bayern sporting director Max Eberl and other key figures at the club.
Chelsea are open to offers for Nkunku, who is valued at around €35 million, though his long-term contract until 2029 and age could push the price higher.
Player Open to Bundesliga Return
Nkunku is reportedly eager for more minutes and views a return to Germany where he enjoyed his most prolific spell with RB Leipzig as a positive move. Personal terms are not expected to be a stumbling block if Bayern and Chelsea can agree on a fee.
Season Kick-Off
Bayern Munich will begin the 2025/26 season on Saturday, 16 July, facing Stuttgart in the German Super Cup at the Mercedes-Benz Arena.
