Leandro Trossard emerges as a priority target for Galatasaray amid Arsenal exit talks

Leandro Trossard Emerges as Priority Target for Galatasaray Amid Arsenal Exit Talks

Leandro Trossard’s time at Arsenal could be nearing its end, with Galatasaray making the Belgian forward a priority signing for the summer transfer window. According to journalist Nevzat Dindar, the Turkish giants are keen to strengthen their attack and see the 29-year-old as a key addition.

The interest comes after Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta reportedly approved Trossard’s departure, paving the way for negotiations. The forward has also attracted attention from Premier League side Brentford and Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund, but Galatasaray’s growing ambition backed by the recent signings of Victor Osimhen and Leroy Sané could make them strong contenders.

Trossard Losing His Place in Arteta’s Plans

Despite playing 56 matches last season, scoring 10 goals and providing 10 assists, Trossard’s role at the Emirates has diminished. Arsenal’s attacking trio of Bukayo Saka, Viktor Gyökeres, and Gabriel Martinelli is firmly established, while the arrival of Noni Madueke and the contract renewal of Ethan Nwaneri have further reduced the Belgian’s chances of regular minutes.

The Gunners’ management reportedly believes selling Trossard now would be the best move, taking advantage of his current market value and freeing space for younger options.

Market Value and Potential Destination

Trossard is currently valued at €22 million, and while his stock has dipped slightly, he remains an attractive proposition for clubs seeking an experienced and versatile winger.

With Galatasaray, Brentford, and Borussia Dortmund all showing interest, the race for his signature is expected to heat up in the coming weeks. If a deal is struck, the Belgian could find himself playing a much more central role than he has at Arsenal.
