Donnarumma is leaving PSG and receives an offer to play for Osimhen’s Galatasaray

Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma could be on his way out of the French capital. The 26-year-old has reportedly received a concrete offer from Galatasaray, where he could join forces with striker Victor Osimhen, according to Footmercato.

Donnarumma’s contract expires at the end of this season, and his agent has begun sounding out options across Europe. In addition to Galatasaray, clubs in the Premier League have also shown interest. Both Manchester City and Manchester United are said to be monitoring the situation, although the player has yet to make a final decision.

PSG Already Eyeing Successor

With Donnarumma’s departure looming, PSG has moved quickly to identify a replacement. The Ligue 1 champions have reached a personal agreement with Lucas Chevalier, the 23-year-old Lille goalkeeper, widely regarded as one of France’s top emerging talents.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, PSG is now in advanced negotiations with Lille, with an initial transfer fee set at €40 million (approximately R$261 million). The deal could rise further through performance-related bonuses.

A Surprising Exit After a Strong Season

Donnarumma’s potential departure comes as a surprise. The Italian international had a strong end to the 2024/25 season, helping PSG clinch domestic and European trophies. Despite his form, the club has opted not to extend his deal, preferring to reshape the goalkeeping department heading into the 2025/26 campaign.

Minimal Market Activity Expected at PSG

Lucas Chevalier remains PSG’s only confirmed incoming transfer so far this summer. Sources close to the club suggest that Luis Enrique is satisfied with the current squad and that no further major signings are expected.

The Parisians will kick off their competitive season on August 13, facing Tottenham Hotspur in the UEFA Super Cup Final—a high-stakes clash that may signal the beginning of a new era between the posts in Paris.
