The Spanish squad scored 14 goals across three matches, defeating Portugal (5-0), Belgium (6-2), and coming from behind to beat Italy (3-1).

Switzerland, on the other hand, secured qualification in dramatic fashion. After a 2-1 opening loss to Norway, they bounced back with a 2-0 win over Iceland, setting up a decisive final match against Finland. Trailing until stoppage time, Riola Xhemaili’s equalizer in the 47th minute booked Switzerland’s spot in the knockout phase.
