LONDON – The Premier League could be set for a significant managerial shake-up this summer. Thomas Frank is reportedly emerging as the leading candidate to take over at Crystal Palace, as his future at Tottenham Hotspur becomes increasingly uncertain.

According to Caught Offside, the Eagles’ board has placed Frank at the top of their shortlist to lead a new long-term project at Selhurst Park. The move comes amid internal confirmation that Palace is preparing for a “new cycle” following the confirmed departure of Oliver Glasner.

The Breakdown at Crystal Palace

Oliver Glasner’s tenure is reaching its end after the Austrian manager officially informed the club he would not be renewing his contract. Despite a successful spell that included FA Cup and Community Shield silverware last season, the relationship between Glasner and the Palace hierarchy has deteriorated.

Public criticisms regarding the club’s transfer strategy are cited as the primary reason for the friction. As a result, Palace management is now prioritizing a “fresh start” for the upcoming European summer, viewing Thomas Frank as the ideal profile to stabilize the squad.

In a fascinating twist, while Crystal Palace pursues Frank, Oliver Glasner himself is being linked with the potential vacancy at Tottenham. Spurs are reportedly evaluating Glasner as a possible successor should they part ways with Frank.

However, Glasner isn’t the only name on Tottenham’s radar. The North London club is also said to be monitoring Fabian Hürzeler, who has impressed recently at Brighton.

As the season nears its conclusion, the future of both the Tottenham and Crystal Palace benches remains one of the most talked-about storylines in English football.
