Liverpool have set a €15 million (approximately R$93 million) price tag for Federico Chiesa as Juventus continue to monitor the Italian winger’s situation ahead of the transfer window.

The Reds’ hierarchy are aware that Chiesa is attracting interest from other clubs and have now defined the minimum fee required to sanction a move. According to Tuttosport, Liverpool are only open to a permanent transfer, complicating Juventus’ plans to bring the player back to Turin.

Liverpool Reject Loan Proposal From Juventus

Juventus are reportedly exploring the possibility of a loan deal, but Liverpool are unwilling to consider that option. Instead, the Premier League club insist on a full sale or, at minimum, a loan with an obligation to buy tied to performance-based conditions, such as a minimum number of appearances.

This stance leaves Juventus with limited flexibility if they wish to move forward in negotiations.

Chiesa’s Role at Liverpool and Potential Status at Juventus

Federico Chiesa has struggled to secure a regular starting role at Liverpool under Arne Slot. So far this season, the 28-year-old has made 20 appearances, but has started just three matches.

His output has also been modest, with one goal, scored against Crystal Palace in the sixth round of the Premier League, and one assist across all competitions.

A return to Juventus would not necessarily guarantee a starting role either. Kenan Yildiz has established himself as a key attacking figure for the Bianconeri, meaning Chiesa would once again face competition for minutes.

Chiesa’s Previous Spell at Juventus

Chiesa previously played for Juventus between 2021 and 2024, enjoying his most productive campaign in the 2020/21 season, when he scored 14 goals in 43 appearances across all competitions.

While it remains unclear whether the player is pushing for a return to Turin, his positive history with the club keeps the door open for renewed interest.

Liverpool Weigh Final Decision

Liverpool must now decide whether to cash in on a player who is not a guaranteed starter or retain Chiesa as a rotational option in attack. With Juventus monitoring the situation and Liverpool firm on their valuation, Chiesa’s future is expected to be a key storyline in the coming weeks.
