Chelsea have no plans to sign Vinícius Júnior from Real Madrid despite recent reports linking the Brazilian forward with a blockbuster move to the Premier League. The player’s future, however, remains under review at Real Madrid as the club continues to assess his contract situation.

No Chelsea interest in Vinícius Jr.

Speculation in recent days suggested Chelsea were considering a move worth around R$990 million for Vinícius Jr., but those claims have been firmly dismissed. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has denied any interest from the Blues, stating there are no talks, offers, or negotiations involving the London club.

According to Romano, the reports are unfounded and Chelsea are not pursuing the Real Madrid winger. Sources close to both clubs and the player have also played down the rumors, reinforcing that Vinícius remains focused on his performances at the Spanish giants.

Real Madrid continue to assess contract renewal

While Chelsea are out of the picture, Vinícius Jr.’s future at Real Madrid is still being discussed internally. The club is keen to renew the Brazilian’s contract, but a final decision will depend on whether both parties can reach an agreement in the coming months.

Previous reports have suggested that renewal talks slowed due to several factors, including salary expectations and tensions during last season, when Xabi Alonso was in charge. Vinícius is believed to be seeking improved financial terms, which has added complexity to negotiations.

Vinícius Jr. focused on regaining form

Despite uncertainty surrounding his contract and a challenging run of form, Vinícius Jr. is determined to rediscover his best level at Real Madrid. According to Spanish newspaper AS, the winger used the recent break to mentally and physically reset after a difficult first half of the season.

So far, Vinícius has made 25 appearances across competitions, starting 21 matches, with five goals and seven assists. However, he has not scored in his last 15 outings, with his most recent goals coming against Villarreal on October 4, when he found the net twice.
