BARCELONA – FC Barcelona Femení is set to battle arch-rivals Real Madrid this Saturday in the first major final of 2026. The two giants will face off for the Spanish Women’s Super Cup title, but the Blaugrana will have to do it without their biggest star.
The club officially released the squad list this Friday morning, confirming that Aitana Bonmatí will miss the final due to injury. Additionally, Barcelona will be without Kika Nazareth, who is serving a suspension following her red card in the 3-1 semi-final victory over Athletic Bilbao.
Dominance in the Clásico Barcelona enters the final as overwhelming favorites. In their last meeting during the first half of Liga F, the Catalan side dismantled Real Madrid with a commanding 4-0 victory.
