Juventus completes the signing of Loïs Openda after losing Kolo Muani

Juventus have confirmed the signing of French striker Loïs Openda from RB Leipzig on loan with an obligation to buy, securing their top attacking reinforcement for the season.
Loan Deal with Obligation to Buy
The Italian giants finalized the agreement after losing their initial transfer target, Randal Kolo Muani, who opted to join Tottenham. According to Sky Sports, the deal is worth over €50 million, including an initial loan fee of up to €4 million and a €47 million purchase obligation that will be triggered if Juventus finish the season among the top Serie A clubs.
RB Leipzig also secured a resale clause, ensuring a percentage of any future transfer fee for the French forward.
Juventus Find Their Alternative
Loïs Openda, 24, emerged as Juventus’ priority signing following Kolo Muani’s departure. The Belgian striker arrives in Turin after a successful stint in Germany, where he became one of the Bundesliga’s standout attackers.
By securing Openda, the Bianconeri ensure a much-needed boost in attack and a player with proven experience in European competitions.
Strengthening the Attack
The move highlights Juventus’ urgent push to reinforce their frontline after a complicated summer transfer window. Despite setbacks in negotiations for other strikers, the Old Lady finally landed a high-level alternative capable of leading the line in Serie A and Europe.
Openda is now expected to make his Serie A debut in the coming weeks, as Juventus look to return to the top of Italian football and compete strongly on all fronts.
