Bayern Munich demands €50 million to release Harry Kane to Barcelona, says newspaper

Bayern Munich have set a €50 million (£43m/ R$315m) price tag on Harry Kane, with Barcelona president Joan Laporta pushing to bring the England striker to Camp Nou, reports El Nacional.
Why Bayern Are Open to Selling
Kane, 32, is under contract until 2027 but is understood to be keen on a move to La Liga. Bayern fear losing him for free and are therefore open to negotiating a transfer in the summer of 2026.
Despite his age, Laporta views the fee as a bargain. The Catalan chief believes Kane’s fitness and consistency would allow him to remain at the top level for years.
Barça’s Challenge: Finances
While the operation is already being studied internally, Barcelona’s financial situation complicates matters. Signing Kane could put the club at risk of breaching La Liga’s strict Financial Fair Play rules.
To make things tougher, Kane’s salary is a stumbling block. Earning €25m per year (R$157m), he is one of Bayern’s highest-paid players a figure currently above Barcelona’s wage cap.

English clubs are also monitoring Kane’s situation, which could spark a bidding war. Bayern, meanwhile, have already begun searching for a replacement, aware of his immense output.
