Bayer Leverkusen striker becomes one of the most sought-after names in the market

Stuttgart eye Boniface as Woltemade’s replacement

VfB Stuttgart have identified Victor Boniface as their top target to fill the void left by Nick Woltemade’s departure. The 24-year-old Nigerian striker, currently at Bayer Leverkusen, has emerged as the main candidate to lead the German club’s attack.

The Stuttgart board and coaching staff believe Boniface’s speed, physicality, and finishing ability could make him an ideal fit for their system. Discussions internally have focused on how he could adapt quickly and add fresh energy to the squad.

A difficult negotiation ahead

Boniface is under contract with Leverkusen until June 2028, making any transfer a costly operation. His market value is estimated at €40 million (R$254.2 million), according to Transfermarkt.

This figure reflects not only his current performances but also the rising demand for his services across Europe and beyond. Leverkusen, aware of his importance, are in a strong position to demand a high fee.

Interest from European giants and Saudi Arabia

Stuttgart are not alone in the chase. West Ham, AC Milan, and Saudi side Al-Nassr are also keeping close tabs on Boniface. Each of these clubs views the Nigerian as a valuable reinforcement who can raise their attacking standards.

While West Ham seek an upgrade in the Premier League, Milan are looking to add depth to their frontline, and Al-Nassr, with significant financial power, could turn the race even more competitive.
