Al-Hilal eyes Vasco’s Rayan after fan campaign; deal could reach R$107 million

Al-Hilal may soon add another Brazilian to its squad. The Saudi giants are evaluating the signing of Rayan, Vasco da Gama’s 19-year-old striker, after an intense fan campaign on social media.
Fans push for signing
With the transfer window in Saudi Arabia closing on September 10, Al-Hilal fans launched the hashtag #RayanVitorDesejoDoHilal, which has been gaining traction on X (formerly Twitter). Supporters are pressuring the club to move quickly for the forward, who has been one of Vasco’s most promising players in 2025.
Value and negotiations
Although no formal offer has yet been presented, Rayan’s market value is estimated at €17 million (R$107 million). In the last window, Porto attempted to secure the striker, but Vasco rejected the deal despite strong interest from president André Villas-Boas.
For Al-Hilal to succeed, they will need to outbid European competition and convince Vasco, which has so far shielded the player from transfer pressure.
Rising star at Vasco
Since coach Fernando Diniz returned to Vasco, Rayan has become a key figure in the attack. The teenager has already played 22 matches and scored seven goals this season, quickly establishing himself as a star in São Januário.
Brazilians at Al-Hilal
If confirmed, Rayan would join a growing Brazilian contingent at the Saudi club. Renan Lodi, Malcom, Kaio César, and Marcos Leonardo are already part of the squad. The latter came close to leaving for São Paulo but ultimately remained in Riyadh.
